Three Pictures & Proof

First of all,

thank you

to all who participated in our

'what is the baby'-poll--

we were impressed & pleased

with the number of votes we received!

This morning we got to get an insider's look at our growing pumpkin:

This is 20 weeks--everything seems to be growing/forming as "normal"

and the heartbeat is steady & solid. I have gained 6 lbs & look more round than usual

but I don't really have that tell-tale BUMP quite yet. I'm sure the baby will fix that soon enough!

The dr. office is going to do some extra bloodwork to check on my platelets (will hear back on Mon) but

everything seems to be going fine and they have no reason to worry that my #s are low.

And the moment you've all been waiting for...

(drumroll please)

...25 of you guessed wrong but 23 of you guessed RIGHT...

We're having a boy!

(This shot is taken as if baby was sitting on a copy machine...can you see it now?)

It was incredible to hear his (we can say HIS instead of "the baby's" now! AWESOME!) hearbeat and see his tiny fingers & toes. Watching the ultrasound tech measure his organs & bones was just amazing. This little growing guy is INSIDE me & apart of both of us--just, wow. We are so excited, it will take a few days to get used to the reality of a BOY(Trevor has been talking "girl girl girl" since October) and get serious about names. I was surprised when the dr. said "well, you're 1/2 way done!" because it just seems like we've only just BEGUN this journey of pregnancy (finding out the gender really does make it feel more REAL).

So, sometime in June we'll be a family of THREE...until then, any name ideas?
